The Inquiry will offer several different methods for people to contribute evidence:

• An online survey

• A publicised call for written evidence

• An opportunity for telephone interviews and focus groups will be arranged if possible

• An inquiry event to be organised during or at the end of the inquiry

April – May 2012

• Press launch with launch of website

• Opening of Inquiry:

  • Online survey

  • Focus groups and telephone interviews where possible

  • Written submissions of evidence

June – August 2012

• Evidence collected together and assembled in a dossier

• Independent panel consider evidence and invite further evidence as necessary

• Independent panel helped by co-ordinating committee consult together

• Report compiled with conclusions and recommendations

September / October 2012

• Launch of report
